Appraisal Trainee (full-time)

Responsibilities to include:  providing assistance to appraisers, compiling and verifying market data, cross-training with collection and support staff, scanning and archiving documents, conducting property inspections, customer service functions, attendance of offsite training and testing for licensing.  Education/Experience/Skills:  High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.  Must be organized, have well-developed verbal and written communication skills, adept at time management and multitasking, ability to maintain professionalism and solve problems in a stressful and dynamic environment, knowledge of basic algebraic and statistical concepts, proficiency utilizing computers and mobile platforms, and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods outdoors.  Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.  Benefits:  100% employer paid medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance.  Paid vacation, sick, and personal leave time provided.  TCDRS defined contribution retirement plan with employer match.
